One of my favorite things when I was a little kid was when my aunt and her two daughters came over and we would all make cookies. Me, Maura, Nikki and Sam would decorate them with sprinkles and food coloring and cherries while mom and Aunt Sandy would make the butter cookie dough. It was a family event!
Even though this Christmas we will all be together, we won't be making cookies. But my sister and I am having our own cookie making time today. It is great to have a little sister bonding and even more fun to create new traditions by carrying on old ones!
